every item carries a clear label, from live to draft to queued to publish. publish an item on its own, queue it for the next site publish, or unpublish, archive, and restore it, without guessing what your visitors can currently see.

safe to set up on client sites

wicked cms connects through Webflow’s own authorization, so access always follows the permissions you already granted.

per-user authorization

everyone signs in separately and connects their own Webflow account through oauth. there is no shared api key to hand around or rotate.

only the access it needs

wicked cms asks for scoped Webflow permissions to read and write cms items and assets. actions you haven’t authorized simply aren’t available.

disconnect whenever

unlink your Webflow account from wicked cms at any time, and revoke the connection from Webflow’s side too.

the things people ask first

yes. each person signs in separately and connects their own Webflow account, so what someone can edit always follows the permissions they already have in Webflow.

start the connection from inside wicked cms and it handles the rest. installing the wicked cms app in Webflow on its own doesn’t finish the connection.

a Webflow site has to be published at least once before individual cms items can be published. publish the site once in Webflow and item publishing works from then on.

yes. upload files, organize folders, and edit display names and alt text. uploading and deleting need Webflow’s asset write permission, so reconnect if you haven’t granted it.

yes. on multi-locale sites a locale switcher appears, and you can see the status of each locale and act on them individually.

open your Webflow sites in wicked cms and choose unlink all sites. unlinking is account-wide, so it removes access to every connected site at once.
